She also really enjoyed her improvisational dance class.
Mardi was selected to be part of the Advanced Vocal Ensemble, led by Molly Holm, which sang a four part harmony version of Joe Henderson's "Black Narcissus"at the final concert on Saturday afternoon.
Judy won the open mic lottery on the first day of camp and was the opening act for the first open mic of the week., singing "Waiter, Please Make mine Blues with a band anchored by one of the guitar faculty.
Mardi got lucky a few days later and got an open mic slot too! She sang a version of "You and the Night and the Music" set to a rhumba beat.
We will each have professionally recorded video of our performances with our full bands which we may want to use on our website.
