Chris Schroeder

Chris started exploring her musical interests as a child in a suburb of Denver, where she played organ for 8 years. The first thing she purchased upon arrival in San Francisco in 1969 was a Martin guitar. While raising her family in the 80s, she joined Wings of Song chorus and participated in their performance at Carnegie Hall in 1995.
Chris is a competitive synchronized swimmer and coach, and she became Pan American team champion in 1971. In 2012 she won 2 medals at the World Masters Championship, a fitting capstone to her career.
She continues to compete internationally, as well as coaching a synchro team in Marin.
