A Productive Rehearsal

We spent a couple of hours together rehearsing our show and working on our arrangement  and harmonies for "Steam Heat".  Next up is "In the Mood".
Our new approach of having a conference call  the day before our rehearsal to deal with biz issues is working well. It allows us to focus our limited rehearsal hours on creative decisions and SINGING!

A Successful Show

Our show last night at ArtworksDowntown was lots of fun. We played two sets to a very receptive audience. 
Several of our mentors showed up to see us perform and afterward they gave us great feedback.

The managing director of the galleries was very pleased with the show, and promised to invite us back.
We had a couple of folks shooting both video and stills, so hopefully we'll soon have some new pics to post here.

Judy and Mardi spent a few hours in the studio this afternoon with the talented pianist Ross Gualco recording backing tracks for a few new tunes we're adding to our repertoire.
