About Us

     Songbirds Judy Berger, Mardi Crawford, and emeritus member Ricki Rush met in a local a capella chorus and soon branched out to explore the jazz idiom as soloists performing in local open-mic venues.  In 2010 they joined forces as a trio. In 2014 Chris Schroeder joined the group as an alternate, and in 2015 she stepped up to become the full-time third member of the trio.
     The trio has performed to great acclaim at local supper clubs and retirement communities, private parties, street fairs and shopping malls. They also donate their services to fundraisers for charitable causes, and perform pro bono under the auspices of Bread and Roses at regional VA Medical Centers and other Senior Service Centers.
