We were well received by the large audience at Merrill Gardens in Vallejo last Friday afternoon. At this facility, the crowd sat at round tables and enjoyed cocktails and conversation while we sang, so it felt more like singing in a bar, than like our usual concert set-up.
They all seemed to have such a good time, their activity director immediately proposed booking us for every other month through next year!
Since we are interested in branching out into other types of venues, like wineries and private parties, we want to be sure to leave enough open space in our schedule, so we are going to accept five bookings.
Good thing we are working on adding new material to our repertoire! Next up is "Sunnyside of the Street" in the jazzy Manhattan Transfer version, followed by "In the Mood"
