On very short notice we were hired to return to Vintage Sonoma to present an hour long show during their special event associated with the group "Spirit of 45".
Since none of our usual accompanist were available on the spur of the moment, we used our top-notch backing tracks created specially for us by the talented pianist, Ross Gualco. Everything worked smoothly and the audience had a great time. Some folks even got up to dance, while others sang along.
A photographer from the local newspaper took our picture as we helped unveil a life-sized full color statue of the famous image of a returning GI kissing an Army nurse. Since this is just the start of a nationwide roll-out by this group of veterans, we're hopeful we will be offered more opportunities to sing in other locations.
