We entertained an appreciative audience as part of a Mother/Daughter Tea party at Sonoma Hills today. The residents and their guests were invited to wear festive hats for the occasion, so we joined them and wore our new fascinators with the big red rose and a black veil.
Our regular accompanist Si Perkoff was unavailable due to his steady gig at Savoy in SF on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, so in his place we hired Judy Hall, who did a fine job for us. She generously offered to rehearse with us for a couple of hours without charge the previous weekend, in order to get a handle on our arrangements.
After the show we celebrated with a glass of sparkling wine on the terrace at Domaine Carneros!
